What would you like to know about SpiritualiTEA?

Updated: Feb 16, 2022

Why are some of the ingredients Organic but not all of them? I love this question as it was a decision I did not take lightly. To find out the answer to this and many more asked by our customers, I have compiled this list. Please comment below or email us directly if you have a question for us.

Where do your teas come from?

The short answer is...All over the World.

The longer answer... We purchase all our ingredients from Australian based importers. The tea blends have been created by our Naturopath and are hand blended in Melbourne. The actual ingredients come from all over the world. Black Tea from Sri Lanka, Green Tea from Japan, Honeybush from South Africa and home grown Australian Vanilla to name a few.

I love Green tea, do you have one?

Yes, we have 2 Green Tea blends. The SpiritualiTEA Organic Heart Chakra Tea is a blend of Sencha Green tea along with Red Rose Petals and finely cut Vanilla Pods. Our Organic New Moon Tea is a Japanese Sencha Green Tea with Toasted Rice. To ensure you enjoy the true flavours from Green Tea check out our BREWING TIPS.

Are all herbal teas caffeine free?

No. Herbal teas today are often a blend of ingredients not just one single ingredient. I have discovered many herbal tea blends that contain black tea. They may also include ingredients such as Cacao or Yerba mate which contain caffeine. The following herbal teas/tisanes in our range do not contain caffeine:

Root Chakra Tisane

Sacral Chakra Tisane

Solar Plexus Chakra Tisane

Throat Chakra Tisane

Third Eye Chakra Tisane

Crown Chakra Tisane

Spirit Animal Chai

Butterfly Tea

Chariot Tea

I don’t like Liquorice (the Root chakra contains Liquorice root), will I taste it?

Taste is an extremely subjective topic. During expos, I have offered numerous people the opportunity to taste our Root Chakra Tisane and almost all of them cannot taste the liquorice. The SpiritualiTEA Root Chakra blend contains 5 herbs and Liquorice Root accounts for 15%. Many people reference the taste of Licorice to the lolly which is a lot stronger than that in the herbal form.

I only like Organic tea, why aren't all your blends Organic?

As a Naturopath I fully understand the benefit of organic ingredients. The closer to how nature intended is part of my personal philosophy. When it comes to herbs and spices, we are inundated with options in Australia hence all of these ingredients in our blends are organic. With regards to tea, that is Green and Black tea, the reason many of our SpiritualiTEA tea blends are not organic is a deliberate choice to support smaller tea farms. Many of which adhere to natural farming processes, cannot afford the cost of the organic stamp and give back to their own community. We work closely with our importers to ensure our teas are the highest quality.

What teas can I have when I'm pregnant or trying to conceive?

During pregnancy or whilst trying to conceive, many people choose to eliminate caffeine. It is also best to avoid herbs during this time. Our Chakra tisanes all contain a blend of several herbs except for two blends; Sacral and Solar Plexus blends. The SpiritualiTEA Organic Sacral blend is a sweet blend of Honeybush, which is caffeine and herbal free, along with dried fruits of Mango and Orange. The SpiritualiTEA Organic Solar Plexus blend is a blend of Rooibos with Vanilla Pods, Goji Berries and Banana which is also caffeine and herbal free.

How do I know which Chakra is not balanced? And what if I more than one tea?

There are a number of ways to work out what Chakra needs attention:

1. You might be drawn to a particular colour. Use your intuition, the first one you have chosen is most likely the one you need.

2. You might feel pain or discomfort in an area of your body that relates to that chakra. Check out our guide on physical ailments and correlating Chakras HERE.

If you are unsure how to check in with your chakras, there are a number of ways to do this. One of my favourite methods is using a pendulum. Not sure how to do this? Check out our recent Instagram REEL.

3. You may also be drawn to a particular ingredient, or have an aversion to one. Both are indicators of an imbalance.

If you discover that several Chakras are currently not balanced, ask the pendulum which Chakra you should work on first. You can work on several chakras with the teas. Have a tea in the morning and another in the afternoon. With each tea, imagine the healing energy from the tea going to that chakra. Take the mindful cup of tea experience as a healing experience to assist you in balancing the Chakra.

Where can I buy your teas?

You can purchase our teas on this website and we have partnered with other like minded businesses around Australia who stock our teas. Including healing, fitness, meditation and yoga centres, boutique shops, along with cafes. Some of our Stockists are also online businesses. Check out the full list of Stockists in each state HERE.
